Welcome to Racelogic

We develop and manufacture electronic systems to measure, record, display, analyse and simulate data from moving vehicles.

Our flagship VBOX has become an industry standard way of measuring speed, position, distance and acceleration, whilst our Video VBOX GPS video loggers are increasingly popular in motorsport. Meanwhile our LabSat GPS and GLONASS Simulator, popular with companies such as Bosch, Garmin, and Nokia, gives you the ability to record and replay real GNSS RF data as well as user generated scenarios.

Racelogic at Autosport '12 - a Great Start to the Season

“Wow! That’s incredible!” is how Ross Loram began his email reply when he was told he had been selected at random from the 333 Autosport competition entries as the winner of a two camera Video VBOX Lite. Having worked on a shoestring budget to race in the Quaife Intermarque League, Ross was ecstatic that he will now be able to improve both driver and vehicle performance with his new Video VBOX.

Three happy competition winners was just the icing on the cake for what turned out to be Racelogic’s busiest ever show. Read more >

Slip angle measurement has never been so accurate...

VBOX3i Dual Antenna & VBOX ManagerUK based electronics company Racelogic have recently made a ‘huge breakthrough’ in vehicle dynamics testing technology with the launch of a GPS data-logger that enables you to measure slip and pitch/roll angles with low latency at 100Hz.

The new VBOX3i Dual Antenna (VBOX3i SL) uses two antennas placed a fixed distance apart to capture vehicle dynamics (along the vehicle for pitch and across the vehicle for roll). By utilising both the GPS and Russian GLONASS constellations, RMS accuracies of up to 0.04° for slip and 0.028° for pitch can be achieved.

New software makes easy work of simulating GLONASS signals

Racelogic’s SatGen simulator assists OEM device development with GLONASS capability

The inclusion of GLONASS into the recently released iPhone 4S highlighted the penetration the Russian satellite system is now enjoying in consumer devices. With the constellation now providing full coverage it has become more important than ever that engineers are able to simulate GLONASS data in order to test multi GNSS constellation devices effectively.
