I'm sure there must be info in here somewhere :), but haven't been able to find it. Where are my options to tie in the CAN bus wiring to the car? I've ordered the necessary cables, but that's as far as I've got.
Thanks
Lucie

Hello,
You can access our vehicle CAN database here: http://www.velocitybox.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=45:can-database&catid=14&Itemid=6
This is where you can download the CAN database file for your vehicle to load into VVB Setup software.
There should also be some helpful information as to possible CAN wire locations and colours for the Porsche 997 :D
If you have any other questions then feel free to contact us at support@racelogic.co.uk :)

Just to follow up - we did have some confusion getting to the proper CAN wires within the steering wheel trim, as Porsche 997.2 wiring schematic shows 4 CAN wires, two high and two low. The key is to tie into the 'drive' CAN, which was properly depicted in your pics. Don't know what the name of the other CAN bus is, but hope this helps someone out there.

Thanks for this Dennis - if you also have any pictures of the wires you tapped into or colours then this will certianly be useful for other customers :D
I am pleased that you now have your equipment properly connected to your vehicle CAN bus system and all is working OK
