Does anyone know where I can find a list of cars that will work with the Vbox. I am looking to do some skid-pad and drift tests and would like to purchase a car that is compatible with the Vbox.

Preferably a list of cars made in the USA.

Thank you

When you say 'compatible' - are you thinking of the CAN logging possibilities? If so, please refer to the CAN Vehicle Database here (http://www.velocitybox.co.uk/index.php/en/support/45-can-database.html).

If you don't mean this, then the answer is yes: Video VBOX is compatible with anything that moves

OK well first thing to do is check the CAN database. If the vehicle in question isn't listed it doesn't mean to say that the IDs we have for other vehicles won't be the same - Fords and Vauxhalls (GM) etc.

From the CAN Vehicle Database I can select a make and model then hit the “Please download the can database here” and I downloaded an ALLCAR.REF file.

REF is not recognized by my computer. Do you know of any format conversions?

This is for use with VBOX equipment only - so you'd use it with your Video VBOX. We're not going to give away .dbc files I'm afraid.
