    Default New Guy

    What's up guys!

I'm Kelly. I work as a test driver for Toyota in Arizona and mess around with the VBox frequently. In my spare time I run a chassis setup shop, independent design company and consult on vehicle dynamics development for racing/drifting applications.

I used to be in to autocrossing heavily during college and moved on to road racing/ club events when I arrived in Arizona. I have since converted to the dark side and regularly take part in drift events. My days at Toyota are spent working on traction control, anti-lock brake tuning and vehicle stability control tuning. I think that's why my hobby outside of work revolves around the complete lack of any such systems.

I'm still a relative newb to most of this stuff but if I can help anyone I would love the experience.

Hi Kelly and welcome to the forum!
Your hobbies sound well suited to our equipment

If you are regularly attending drift events then I'm sure you have seen our DriftBox

Oddly enough I'm more of a player and not soo much spectator. I went to my first Formula D event in Las Vegas this year after drifting for 8 or so years haha! I was very surprised to see who is doing what with data acquisition. Bergenholts racing runs a Mazda RX8 with Motec. They measure the hand brake stroke! My drift cars are pretty basic so I can't imagine being told to e-brake at 50% stroke versus 75% to control wheel spin.
