Hi,

I just tried to make a math channel that calculates the derivative of a channel (lat G).
At first I tried to make a math channel on the Video VBOX Setup software but the functions are just basic and won't allow me to find derivatives.
Then I tried to do it in Circuit Tools but that program doesn't even have the option to create math channels.

My question is if there is a way to add this channel to the data. I feel pretty limited not being able to add math channels to my data later on (a suggestion to improve circuit tools).

Thanks

Steve

Hello,

As you know the Video VBOX does not support the derivative maths function. If you are not bothered about having your maths channel on the Video overlay then you could use our VBOX Tools software application to generate the requested channel. If you would like to try this then please send an email to the support department.

I began making some math channels in vbox tools. It wasn't too difficult.
The only issue is every time I try to save the math channels and the file the program freezes and saves 10 more files with different names. It takes a while but it finally does it. I don't know if it's a bug or what is the issue.
