Julian Thomas - Founder and Managing Director

Julian is the Founder and Managing Director of Racelogic, which he started in 1992. He graduated from Durham University with a degree in Physics and Electronics and is a keen racing driver.

Julian continues to contribute directly to Racelogic as product designer, software engineer and chief test driver! Most recently working on the LabSat GPS simulator product, Julian enjoys nothing better than coming up with new ways of overcoming technical challenges.

Harry Thuillier – Chairman

Harry Thuillier joined Racelogic in 1998 having spent the previous 16 years starting and running the Company Fraser Associates. This Company specialised in providing computer hardware and consultancy throughout the UK.

After Fraser Associates was sold, Harry joined Racelogic as Commercial Director to enable Racelogic to grow and become more profitable. In 2007 Harry became Chairman of Racelogic.

Graham Mackie – CEO & Commercial Director

Graham joined Racelogic on 21st February 2011 as Commercial Director. His experience in numerous businesses including his latest role as Managing Director at Road Angel (the UK’s largest manufacturer of GPS based speed camera locators and vehicle telematics) will help Racelogic move to the next stage of development and ensure we can keep up with rising demands and continued growth.

In his spare time Graham is a keen triathlete and competes in Ironman and other endurance races around the world.

Amanda Clifton - Operations Director

Amanda worked at Fraser Associates as Operations & Quality Manager before moving into a consultancy role, where she managed the commercial Departments of a number of different Companies. She started work for Racelogic in 1999 being promoted to Operations Director in 2008.

Her role as a manager now includes Quality control, Purchasing, Production and Admin to ensure that all customer order expectations are fulfilled.

Chris Smith – Design Director

Chris previously worked at electronic vehicle tuning company Superchips, where he was instrumental in designing many of the products that helped Superchips establish itself in the tuning market.

Seeking a new challenge, Chris joined Racelogic in 1996, and has since been the main influence behind the hardware that has helped make Racelogic successful. Chris became Design Director in 1998. His design skill has most recently resulted in Racelogic entering the GPS testing market with the ground breaking LabSat GPS Simulator.

Kevin Bursnall - Technical Director

Kevin joined Racelogic in 1995, working with Julian on the development of Traction Control. He left in 1997 to gain further experience in electronic design and development with two automotive companies: Stack and Superchips.

Kevin then re-joined an expanded Racelogic in 2003, to create the Technical Support department. He became Technical Director in 2006, and today oversees the Support team, gets involved with new product development, and manages Technical Sales of the VBOX range for testing applications.

Leander Speth - Sales Director Europe & Asia

Leander has over 20 years of experience in the measurement systems and automotive sensors industry. He previously distributed Racelogic’s VBOX range with AFT, before leaving to work at Racelogic.

He became Sales Director in 2010.

Our team of experienced Production Engineers are responsible for assembling our wide range of products!

They ensure that every unit is assembled and tested to conform to our high quality standards, which is achieved by working to comprehensive process instructions. 

The workload is scheduled so that products are built on time and quality tested as a complete system before being despatched by the warehouse team.

We believe good technical support is absolutely vital. There is nothing more frustrating than an engaged telephone line, or lack of email response when you need an answer very quickly.

We have a team of 6 people in support and testing who are there to solve your problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.

As a tight knit team, they take great pride in the positive feedback they receive from satisfied customers.

Being responsible for final testing of all new products and upgrades, the team gain an in-depth knowledge of every aspect and feature. 

Using this experience they are able to support customers in the field as well as provide feedback to research and development improving the customer experience.

Our new repairs department enables Racelogic to cope with the increasing volume of Racelogic products in the market.

The new department has two dedicated staff, who bring over nine years experience in the production team to the role. They deal with all hardware enquiries via email and phone, coordinate fault reports, complete repairs and arrange returns.
